Word History: A long time ago, the emperor of China kept mocking his servants working on building the Great Wall of China. After the emperor died, his workers spread the story about the emperor's bad attitude and it continued to spread until the Latins heard about it. The Latins soon made up a meaning for the word based on the attitude of the emperor.
